Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely view of the river and mountains from the room, but the noise from the fast-flowing river was a bit too much. The mini bar was a nice touch, but the fridge wasn't working. The hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating, even helping with luggage juggling. The location was super central with everything within walking distance, but they missed telling me about the free train pass. The dining experience was enjoyable, being able to watch the river while eating, but the buffet was average. The hotel facilities were basic but sufficient.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms looked like they had a recent refit but could have been bigger and need updating. Although the lovely view of the river and mountains was a highlight, the noise from the fast-flowing river made it difficult to keep the window open. The service was helpful and friendly overall, but not always as responsive as I'd hoped. The location was great, super central and within walking distance of everything I needed, although the view from the room wasn't ideal. The dining experience was fairly basic but good enough, with a decent selection. The facilities were adequate, lacking some modern touches.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The rooms were small but cozy, with an upstairs area that had two extra beds. My room overlooked a crystal clear stream and offered a breathtaking view of the Brevent mountains. The service was exceptional, with very polite staff and reliable Wi-Fi. The location was perfect for my Mont Blanc trek, right beside the river and within walking distance of everything I needed. The dining experience was delightful, with a great selection that included a hot option. However, the hotel felt a bit tired in some areas.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, although large and clean with typical mountain furniture, were a bit wobbly and not securely attached to the wall. On the bright side, the service was top-notch, especially with accommodating and friendly staff. The location was fantastic, offering a beautiful view of the river and town area, with easy access to everything we needed. However, the dining options were pretty modest. Overall, it's a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and they had a tiny fridge with some non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. I enjoyed the lots of natural light and the breathtaking view of Mount Blanc. The hotel is in a prime location with fantastic views of the mountains and a river running alongside. The service was top-notch, and the staff was polite, friendly, and very helpful. The location couldn't have been better, right across the river from all of Chamonix's restaurants and shops. The dining experience was pleasant, with home-made pies and jams. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities.
Staying on the 1st floor above a pub was surprisingly clean and adequate for 5 people. The room directly over the river offered a unique experience. The service was very nice and extremely helpful, making my stay more enjoyable. The location was excellent, giving a cozy feel with a view of the roaring river and being very close to the town center. The dining was good but slightly pricey. Overall, a comfortable and friendly hotel with great views.
